household plants and furniture from dry air. To produce moisture cool mist humidifiers use the evaporative wicks placed
in the water tub. The evaporative wicks soak the water and give away the moisture to the passing through air. Evaporative
wicks collect minerals and calcium from the water and should be replaced when loose the efficiency. On average, the lifetime
of one set of evaporative wicks 2 to 4 months depending on the quality of water. Water softener can extend their lifetime.
Cool mist humidifiers use relatively large fan and motor which results in slightly higher level of noise. (Exception models W-6,
W-7, W-9). Cool mist humidifiers are energy efficient units as they require 1/5 to 1/10 power of the warm mist humidifiers.
