transit
The transit time by UPS
to most locations in the USA and Canada is as follows:
UPS standard (ground) service
- 3 to 6 business days;
UPS expedited (2nd Day Air)
- two business days;
UPS express (Next Day Air)
- one business day (overnight).
All shipments can be delayed
by bad weather conditions and are customs pending. |

Damaged
Product
Inspect the merchandise
upon receiving for possible damages. If any, call the UPS at a toll free
number to report the problems
immediately. Then give us a call at
to obtain a Return Authorization number and get further instructions. The
merchandise damaged in transit is replaced with new one at no extra cost
to the customer. |

Germicidal
UV bulb
The Germicidal
UV (Ultra Violet) bulb is a bulb producing the UV light with the
wavelength 253.7 nm (nanometer). The UV light
with this wavelength has an extremely strong sterilization power, which
is 1,600 times of direct daylight, and thus called the “sterilizing
ray”. The sterilization mechanism of this light works by destroying
the DNA alignment and killing the genetic function of Thymine (one of four
amino acids). This results in inability of bio cultures and microorganisms
such as germs, bacteria, microbes, mold spores, viruses etc. to form protein
material and reproduce themselves. This method provides much faster sterilization
than other conventional methods such as chemical or high temperature treatment.
The Germicidal UV bulbs
used in our units use the high purity quartz (over 99.99 % of SiO2).
and do not produce ozone - ozone free bulbs. Only UV light with the wavelength
shorter than 200 nm produces ozone. The lifetime of the Germicidal UV bulbs
in our units - up to 20,000 hours regardless the number of on/off cycles. |

Evaporative
wicks
The evaporative wicks in
cool mist humidifiers are used to produce moisture. They are made of a
porous material with high ability to soak the water. Placed in the water
bath they get saturated with water and give up the moisture to passing
through air.
Hard water may negatively
affect the efficiency and a life time of the evaporative wicks. |
